Polyurethane hoses are generally the best choice for applications that require high flexibility and a small bending radius, or where there may be issues with bending.
SHPI offers two main raw material options: ESTER and ETHER based polyurethane.
PU hoses made from ESTER-based material are more economical and generally stronger due to their high tensile strength. However, their use should be limited to areas with consistently low temperatures and where high, continuous flexibility is not required.
PU hoses made from ETHER-based material are resistant to moisture and do not degrade in any way. They are more flexible at low temperatures and demonstrate elastomeric characteristics with good elongation and recovery properties. Additionally, they offer many superior features and are highly suitable for long-lasting machinery.
